 Quaker Safety Products and Manufacturing, Inc. started manufacturing protective clothing, gloves and aprons for industry in 1946. Working in conjunction with the U.S. Navy "Manufacturing" developed one of the first fire entry suits. Later, in the 60's, "Manufacturing" started production of high quality turnout gear for the fire service. In 1986 certain assets of "Manufacturing" were acquired by a new entity which changed the name to Quaker Safety Products Corporation.

Today Quaker Safety Products Corporation prides itself in producing the highest quality turnout gear available for the fire, rescue, wildland and emergency medical services industry. Quaker promises to give personal service, "deliver quality" and "deliver on time".
